Festival Information: A Survival Guide

Skip the guesswork (and the awkward bag checks) by checking out our ultimate list of what to bring—and what to leave at home. We’ve got you covered from the moment you arrive to your final encore.

**The event is held on the rodeo grounds of the Darby Rodeo, with a large open rodeo arena and bleachers. There are various types of terrain throughout the venue which, grassy areas, hard packed dirt, and gravel roadways. Plan accordingly as there are some distances to be covered to get to the various areas of the rodeo grounds, arena and by stage on the site, and as with any natural terrain, rain can impact the conditions. Allowed - In Venue

  • Clear Bag – Bags shall be CLEAR or if not, will be subject to search and not exceed 14” x 14” x 6”. Can bring a non clear bag within size but subject to be searched.
  • Blankets
  • Hats
  • Rain gear
  • Ear plugs (Protect your ears—you only have one set of them!)
  • Empty plastic water bottle or empty reusable water bottle (NOT glass)
  • 1 sealed water bottle per person
  • Empty camelbacks with only one pocket
  • Phones/Digital type camera
  • Bug spray
  • Sunscreen - Protect your skin!
  • Physician prescribed medications
  • We will allow small low back foldable chairs in the back part of the arena floor.
  • Smoking is permitted in designated areas.

Not Allowed - In Venue

We want everyone to have fun time in a safe and friendly environment.


All people attending Darby Music Fest do so at their own risk. No liability is assumed by owners, managers, promoters, sponsors or others associated with the event. 


  • No firearms, explosives, fireworks, or weapons of any kind, including but not limited to ammunition, pocket knives, pepper spray, laser pointers and tasers.
  • No drugs or drug paraphernalia allowed. If you bring them inside or to other designated festival areas, you will be ejected from the event.
  • NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL OF ANY KIND
  • No pets allowed inside rodeo or arena grounds, festival grounds, parking lots aside from service animals. 


**A service animal’ means “any dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability. The work or tasks performed by a service animal must be directly related to the handler’s disability. Emotional support or comfort animals are not considered service animals under the ADA and therefore are not allowed.


  • Professional Cameras and equipment (any camera with a detachable lens) (except press/media/hired photographers)
  • Any and all professional audio recording and/or video recording equipment.
  • No video cameras or cameras of any kind are allowed inside the arena and rodeo grounds. This includes SLR cameras with removable lens and Go-Pro recording devices. Digital cameras, phone cameras (non-professional) are allowed. 
  • Drones or any other remote flying device.
  • No professional grade radios or walkie talkies
  • No umbrellas, flags, kites, inflatable balls or others items that may block the view of concert attendee(s).
  • No personal food or beverages including but not limited to outside alcohol, soda & water of any kind
  • Coolers, ice chests, flasks, bota bags and any other beverage containers.

Any violations of festival policies will be subject to immediate removal from grounds and subject to fines according to state and local ordinances.


All bags, sacks, purses, and anything else that a person is carrying are subject to inspection upon entry and other festival secured areas. Security will be tight entering.
